1. you have availability to take part in the programme and  

2. that your line manager or your organisation approves your participation in the Academy. 


If you are not in employment, please select N/A.

This is because we will ask your line manager or representative in your organisation to help you identify a focus area for an action plan that you will develop during the Academy. We will also ask your line manager or organisation to complete a very short survey on your leadership development at the beginning and end of the programme.  


Accessibility Fund

Please note that we have an accessibility fund to assist anyone with care duties or facing any financial barriers in relation to taking part in the programme, so do please apply and if you are shortlisted we will discuss any accessibility issues with you.


Shortlisting

We will automatically shortlist and interview applicants if you are Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic, or a disabled person, but you must still respond to all questions in the form.

Arts Council of Wales are sponsoring two places for people who work in the arts sector (this includes staff in arts organisations, or those working as artists, creative practitioners or freelancers). Please tick here if you work in the arts to be considered for these places. Your application will still be considered for the other available places.

3) We are looking to build a diverse group of young people who are committed to reaching their leadership potential and initiating social action in their local community.

We use this data to monitor the demographics of people participating in our programme.

The Future Generations Commissioner Office in partnership with Elevate BC actively promote equality of opportunity for all during the Academy 3.0. programme. We are looking for the right mix of talent, skills and potential and we welcome applications from a wide range of applicants, including those with criminal records. 


We select participants for programmes based on their skills, experience and suitability. 


We ask all applicants to provide details of any criminal record as part of the application process. Only those staff within our team who need to see this information will see it. 


Information on criminal convictions will not be used as part of the shortlisting process for candidates. 

We have asked about your demographic data and background because we use this to monitor who takes part in the programme and to tell our funders who is accessing the projects they fund (i.e. 62% female, 15% Muslim, 24% LGBTQI+).


We do not use this information to identify you as an individual and we will not share your personal information.
